The North American Aerospace Defense Command (NORAD) reported that its F-16 fighter jets intercepted several general aviation aircraft in Bedminster, New Jersey, on Sunday. The planes allegedly breached temporary flight restrictions in the area.
According to Air Forces Northern, part of the 1st Air Force, two aircraft were involved in the incident. NORAD officials confirmed that their aircraft safely escorted the general aviation planes out of the restricted airspace.

The temporary flight restrictions were imposed over the Bedminster vicinity, as President Trump was anticipated to visit his golf club there.
