The photographer of a viral image featuring a child detained by federal immigration agents has threatened to take legal action. This legal threat is directed at a super PAC that supports Democratic Senate candidate Angie Craig.
On January 28, a protest took place against Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) near the South Texas Family Residential Center. During this event, the subject of the photograph, Liam Conejo Ramos, was being held. The protest highlighted concerns over immigration policies.
