2 weeks ago 0

The DC Open finals faced significant disruptions due to rain on Sunday. Despite the weather challenges, some tennis action did occur during the day, though it was overshadowed by frequent downpours.

The much-anticipated matches featured Jessica Pegula against Alexandra Eala on the women’s side, and Taylor Fritz against Rafael Jódar for the men’s competition. Unfortunately, the weather interference was substantial, with rain dominating the day’s proceedings.

In response to these interruptions, the singles finals have been rescheduled. They are now set to resume at noon on Monday. Fans and players alike will be hoping for clearer skies and uninterrupted gameplay as the tournament progresses.
