Seahawks Aim for NFC West Repeat While Chargers Challenge Chiefs in AFC

1 week ago 0

The Seattle Seahawks are looking to assert their dominance in the NFC West as they aim to repeat as division champions in the 2026/27 NFL Season. Meanwhile, the Los Angeles Chargers are poised to challenge the Kansas City Chiefs in the AFC East. Danny Parkins of FTF has shared his predictions for both divisions.

Joining the discussion are Nick Wright, Chris Broussard, Kevin Wildes, and Greg Jennings, debating Josh Allen’s status as the top-rated quarterback in the NFL. There’s also talk about Caleb Williams and his potential to be a prominent player and leader for the Chicago Bears.

In another major development, Indianapolis Colts wide receiver Keenan Allen may face suspension from the NFL following charges stemming from his arrest for drunk driving. Allen has been charged with operating a vehicle while intoxicated and endangering a person, both misdemeanors under Indiana law. His blood alcohol level was recorded at .224, significantly above the legal limit of .08, which raises the severity of his charges.

According to NFL’s substance-abuse policy, a minimum three-game suspension is typically enforced for violations, however, with Allen’s high BAC, a longer suspension is possible. The league is expected to wait for his legal proceedings before implementing any suspension.

An attorney conference on October 26 may determine the timing of his suspension. Until then, Allen is expected to play in Week 2 against the Kansas City Chiefs.

Currently in his 14th NFL season and first with the Indianapolis Colts, Allen previously starred with the Los Angeles Chargers, where he spent 12 seasons. He also played with the Chicago Bears in 2024 before returning to the Chargers last season.
