Sean “Diddy” Combs in Solitary After Prison Altercation

3 weeks ago 0

Sean “Diddy” Combs, formerly a prominent music mogul, has been reported to be in solitary confinement. This follows a clash with another inmate at the Federal Correctional Institution in Fort Dix, New Jersey. According to a report, the altercation began earlier this week when an inmate allegedly insulted Diddy, leading to a heated exchange that soon escalated into physical conflict.

TMZ reported that the two inmates began shoving each other and exchanged blows before security intervened to break up the fight. Sources mentioned that Diddy managed to defend himself during the incident, which was serious enough to result in his placement in solitary confinement. It remains uncertain if he remains there as of Friday morning.

“We are not at liberty to disclose or provide internal information pertaining to any inmate in our custody,” stated FCI to TMZ. “Such information would not be available for the public domain.”

The Bad Boy Records founder is currently serving a 50-month sentence due to a federal conviction. In July 2025, he was found guilty on two prostitution-related charges. This conviction followed a federal sex trafficking trial in New York. His arrest occurred at the Park Hyatt Hotel in Midtown, shortly after R&B singer Cassandra “Cassie” Ventura, his ex-girlfriend, filed a lawsuit against him. She accused Diddy of rape and subjected her to continual physical and mental abuse. Although the matter was resolved a day later, it sparked numerous similar accusations, resulting in over 100 civil lawsuits against him.

Diddy’s release from prison is scheduled for February 2028, conditional on maintaining good behavior. It remains unclear if the recent altercation will affect this timeline.
