Fortunately, Kaptur’s injuries are not considered life-threatening. Her office reported, “This morning, Congresswoman Kaptur was a passenger in a vehicle on her way to a church service when the car she was traveling in was struck. She is active, alert, and being treated for non-life-threatening injuries.”

Officials have stated that the crash is still under investigation. Her office expressed anticipation of further details from the Toledo Police, who are conducting the investigation.
