Sean ‘Diddy’ Combs Receives Medical Treatment After Head Injury in Federal Prison

1 hour ago 0

Sean “Diddy” Combs was taken from a federal prison for medical care early Saturday following a head injury. TMZ reported that Combs’ representative informed Newsweek they are verifying the situation.

The representative stated, “We are aware of the reports concerning Sean Combs and are working to confirm the circumstances. Sean’s health and well-being are our immediate concern, and we appreciate everyone who has reached out.”

Sources from FCI Fort Dix in New Jersey disclosed to TMZ that an ambulance carried Combs away from the prison at approximately 1 a.m. The outlet mentioned it was uncertain how Combs received the injury and had not yet verified if he was admitted to a hospital. Combs was awake and speaking when he returned to the prison before dawn, according to TMZ.

Combs is currently facing criminal charges and civil allegations, including sexual assault, sex trafficking, physical abuse, and coercive behavior, all of which he denies. In July 2025, a federal jury acquitted him of the major charges—racketeering conspiracy and sex trafficking—but found him guilty on two counts related to transporting for prostitution. He received a 50-month sentence, expected to end on March 2, 2028.

Legal Background

In 2025, Combs was convicted of transporting two women, identified in court as Cassie Ventura and “Jane,” for prostitution purposes, violating the Mann Act. He was acquitted of more severe charges of racketeering and sex trafficking, which could have resulted in lengthy sentences.

Combs faces over 70 lawsuits nationwide, with new claims coming from former employees, partners, and a former child actor.
