Sean “Diddy” Combs needed medical attention after experiencing a head injury from a fall at the federal prison where he is currently incarcerated. He was transported by ambulance early Saturday. Details about his treatment location or the cause of the injury remain unclear, according to a report from TMZ.
Sources within Fort Dix Federal Correctional Institute, located in New Jersey, informed TMZ that after the hip-hop icon was taken to the hospital around 1 a.m., he returned to the facility before dawn. Reports indicate he was conscious and communicating upon his return.
This incident took place approximately 10 days following allegations from an NBC report that Combs was compensating fellow inmates with thousands of dollars monthly. These payments were for services such as cooking, cleaning, laundry, and massages.
Recently, Combs was placed back into solitary confinement after being involved in a physical altercation. His release date was consequently extended by several weeks.
