A 73-year-old man, Craig K. Streeter, has been missing for over three weeks. Authorities discovered his abandoned RV at a remote campsite in the Adirondack Mountains, New York.
New York State Police (NYSP) reported that Streeter, a resident of Mahopac, was last seen on August 2 at a Stewart’s Shop in Indian Lake. It is common for him to be off the grid for short periods, but not for this long.
The search began when New York State Forest Rangers found Streeter’s RV at campsite 36 on Moose River Road in Inlet, showing no signs of recent activity. Unable to locate him, authorities called in more law enforcement agencies. The ongoing search involves multiple agencies, according to NYSP.
Authorities have found no evidence of foul play. Streeter was last seen wearing a dark-colored long-sleeved shirt and jeans when he left the store in his RV.
Officials are seeking information from anyone who might have encountered Streeter along Moose River Road or in any nearby remote camping areas. They urge anyone with information to contact the New York State Police at 518-897-2000.
