U.S. Senator Bernie Moreno has publicly stated that his former son-in-law, U.S. Representative Max Miller, should not serve in the House of Representatives. Moreno has urged Miller to seek professional help amid allegations of domestic abuse shared on X, a social media platform, on Sunday. Moreno expressed concerns about Miller’s character in a detailed post, noting the extended custody dispute between Miller and his daughter, Emily.

“If there are any basic standards of character required to hold elected office, Max Miller fails them. He should not serve in the House of Representatives,” wrote Moreno.

Moreno further stated that Miller needs serious psychological assistance, asserting that he poses a risk to his daughter and granddaughter. Despite these allegations, Miller has announced his intention to continue his reelection campaign ahead of an upcoming deadline. He firmly denied abusing his former wife or his daughter during a live video.

Miller has faced increased scrutiny over domestic abuse allegations as the custody battle with his ex-wife continues. Emily Moreno accused Miller of scalding, hitting, and threatening her during their marriage. In response, Miller has repeatedly denied these accusations, including claims related to their daughter’s injury.
