A tragic car accident over the weekend claimed the lives of social media influencer Ayzia J. Toledo and another passenger. Toledo, a 22-year-old model and content creator, was widely recognized in Philadelphia for her lifestyle and fashion posts under the handle “AYZIA J.”
Authorities reported that Toledo was driving a BMW with two passengers late Sunday night when the accident occurred. The car veered off the New Jersey freeway, overturned, and hit a tree in Deptford Township, located approximately 12 miles south of Philadelphia.
“Toledo lost directional control of the vehicle, ran off the roadway to the left, overturned and struck a tree,” shared the New Jersey State Police.
Both Toledo and her front-seat passenger suffered fatal injuries. The passenger was identified as 22-year-old Henrietta F. Carter from Darby, Pennsylvania. A third passenger in the rear seat sustained minor injuries and was taken to a local hospital.
The tragic event has left an investigation ongoing. Fans have expressed their grief on Toledo’s social media profiles, remembering her for her beauty and talent. A GoFundMe page set up in her memory describes her as beloved by her family, friends, and community.
Toledo had built a significant following with more than 300,000 followers on social media, including TikTok and Instagram. Her sudden death marks a profound loss for those who admired her work and aspirations.
The same weekend saw another influencer’s untimely death. Brianna Johnson, known as DreamDoll Brii, was killed in a drive-by shooting in Miramar, Florida, while riding in a Lamborghini SUV.
