A tragic incident occurred at a school in Thailand’s Nonthaburi province, located just north of Bangkok, on Friday. According to a report from Reuters citing local police, a student opened fire, resulting in an unspecified number of fatalities.
The event has disturbed the Bang Kruai district community. Authorities have identified the suspected shooter as a student. However, they have yet to provide further details concerning the victims, the suspect, or any possible motive. The investigation remains active, as officials work to gather more information.
This incident aligns with other troubling occurrences of school violence this year. In February, a deadly shooting took place at a high school in British Columbia, Canada.
