Sydney Sweeney recently captured attention by challenging Tom Cruise with a daring stunt. She shared a video on Monday, showcasing herself strapped to the top of a moving airplane, holding a GoPro to capture the moment. The single-engine plane performed several flips, all while Sweeney remained securely attached.
In her Instagram post, she humorously warned Cruise to “watch out,” drawing comparisons to the renowned actor known for performing his own stunts. Dressed casually in leggings and a navy crew neck, Sweeney stayed calm during the plane’s maneuvers, her hair styled in pigtail braids.
Sweeney to Tom Cruise: “watch out.”
The “Top Gun” Instagram account responded enthusiastically, commenting, “Feel the need for speed,” highlighting Sweeney’s bravery. Prior to posting the stunt video, Sweeney shared glimpses of her summer activities with her boyfriend, Scooter Braun, through social media.
On August 22, she posted a caption “Camp ’26,” accompanied by a superhero emoji. Sweeney and Braun dressed as superheroes, adding a playful touch to their lakeside adventure. The Instagram carousel included images of Sweeney in a Wonder Woman-inspired outfit, standing beside Braun in a Superman costume.
Amid their fun, Sweeney balanced on an inflatable water obstacle course, and Braun enjoyed a jet ski ride. The couple also lounged in the sun and enjoyed karaoke together. Rumors of their relationship began in 2025, after they reportedly met at a wedding. Sweeney confirmed their romance in April 2026 through an Instagram photo of Braun with her.
Despite the excitement, Sweeney faced critiques for some of her scenes in the third season of “Euphoria.” This stunt indicates her adventurous spirit and might set the stage for more thrilling escapades.
