The band from Iztapalapa, a working-class district in Mexico City, embraces the slogan “From Iztapalapa for the world!” Their performances span from Vive Latino to Coachella. J Balvin added to the dynamic atmosphere with hits like “Qué calor” and “I Like It.”
Danny Ocean performed “Partidazo,” from the World Cup album. His show included dancers with modern adaptations of traditional Jalisco dresses, melding cultural elements with contemporary styles.

Salma Hayek delivered a welcoming speech in the ceremonial parade that featured the 48 participating nations’ flags. A football enthusiast, Hayek expressed honor for Mexico hosting the tournament kickoff. She serves as a World Cup 2026 ambassador.
