Approximately 44 percent of nurses now employ AI in their work, a notable increase from 15 percent the previous year. The survey included over 2,200 nurses, highlighting a significant trend in healthcare technology adoption.
Bojana Milekic, a nurse at Mount Sinai Hospital, demonstrated how AI programs are used to assess patient risks. This example illustrates the practical application of AI in clinical settings. Despite this growing reliance, more than 80 percent of survey participants expressed concerns about the accuracy of AI. They emphasized the need for additional verification to ensure reliable outcomes.
