A new Fox News poll brings hope to Texas Democrats in a key Senate race, revealing Democratic State Representative James Talarico holding a slim lead over Republican Attorney General Ken Paxton. Talarico has criticized Paxton’s administration for alleged unethical practices, particularly a controversial legal deal. Adam Hoffman, an attorney involved in a sexual abuse case, received a reduction in charges. His penalties included a short jail term and loss of his law license, but he avoided sex offender registration.
