Israeli forces maintain their occupation of a buffer zone in southern Lebanon. Their primary aim is to dismantle Hezbollah’s infrastructure. This operation has led to comparisons with measures previously imposed in the West Bank.
According to Rev. Hugues de Woillemont, Christians remaining in the area show “remarkable courage and determination.” These residents face ongoing challenges but remain steadfast in their communities.

This is followed by Iran’s red, white, and green tricolor. Closer to the border, the blue and white flag of Israel becomes evident.
