Over the past year, Ukraine has developed long-range drones for penetrating strikes into Russian territory. Their drone technology gains attention from global governments and defense firms. Kyiv aims to make Russian citizens aware of the war’s impact and to push President Vladimir Putin toward negotiating peace. However, Putin remains firm in continuing military operations.
Ukrainian Foreign Minister Andrii Sybiha remarked, “Putin persists in prolonging the conflict instead of considering Ukraine’s feasible ceasefire options.”
Throughout the night, Russian air defenses intercepted 791 Ukrainian drones across various regions, including annexed Crimea and the surrounding seas, as reported by the Defense Ministry in Moscow. This event stands as the second-largest drone assault since January 2025, based on Associated Press data.
