Republicans and Democrats Compete for Wyoming Governor’s Seat

Four Republican candidates are in the race to succeed Wyoming’s retiring governor, Mark Gordon. The winner of the Republican primary will later compete against Kenneth Casner, who is the only Democratic contender, in the upcoming November election.

Among the Republican candidates, Megan Degenfelder, the State Superintendent of Public Instruction, has received an endorsement from former President Donald Trump. In terms of campaign fundraising, State Senator Eric Barlow is closely trailing her.
