Prince Harry is returning to the UK with his wife Meghan and their children for an extended stay. This move might help mend the rift with the royal family. Six years ago, the couple decided to step back from their roles as active members of the royalty. They moved to the United States, increasing the distance with Harry’s father, King Charles III, and his older brother, Prince William, the heir to the throne.

Harry didn’t comment on this move at a recent event, but he has shown interest in reconciling to spend more time with his father. The king is receiving treatment for an undisclosed form of cancer. Although details of their return are unclear, the couple enrolled their children, Prince Archie, 7, and Princess Lilibet, 5, in British schools starting in September, as confirmed by a source.

The couple won’t return to royal life. They plan to reside in a private home outside London, maintaining their Montecito residence and a vacation property in Portugal. Harry plans to focus on his UK-based charities.
