Drew Carey has voiced a strong opinion on Spencer Pratt’s bid for Los Angeles mayor, sharing his thoughts on social media. The host of “The Price is Right” urged LA residents to reconsider supporting Pratt in the upcoming June primaries.
Anyone who votes for, or endorses Spencer Pratt for Mayor of LA needs to get their head out of their a–,
Carey stated. He urged voters to back someone skilled and morally sound instead of Pratt, whom he described as a “serial scammer.”
Pratt became a prominent advocate for LA citizens after losing his home in the 2025 Palisades wildfire. He began his mayoral campaign in January, criticizing incumbent Karen Bass for the handling of the fires.
In a lawsuit filed with his wife Heidi Montag and other property owners, Pratt blamed the LA Department of Water and Power (LADWP) for damages incurred during those fires. The suit claimed LADWP chose to operate with an unusable water supply to cut costs.
Pratt has asked residents to “think bigger for LA,” asserting they do not have to accept the current conditions. He positioned himself as a candidate for change, without strict political ties, despite being a registered Republican and receiving support from former President Donald Trump.
Trump recently commented on Pratt’s campaign, expressing support but noting the difficulties of winning in California, calling the voting system “rigged.” Pratt clarified his campaign aims to benefit the residents of LA rather than align with any political party.
Although the Los Angeles mayoral election is nonpartisan, if no candidate secures a majority in the June primary, the top two will compete in November.
