Advisers to President Donald Trump quickly moved to organize a rally scheduled for June 24. This came after several scheduled performers for a summer concert series on the National Mall dropped out. The performers cited associations with President Trump as their reason for canceling.
On Saturday, President Trump announced, “I am instructing my Representatives to explore the feasibility of holding an AMERICA IS BACK Rally.”
President Trump will lead the opening ceremony for the Great American State Fair on the National Mall next month. This decision follows the choice by many musical performers not to participate due to their concerns about the event’s connections with Trump.
