Police responded to a reported shooting at the Fairfield High School parking lot around 7:15 p.m. on Wednesday. ABC30 reported that shots were fired shortly after a Sam Yeteo High School graduation ceremony concluded, as attendees gathered for photos.

No information on the identity or condition of the victims was provided. Belyea noted that no one has been taken into custody regarding the incident, and did not share further details or a description of the shooter.

Suisun City Mayor Alma Hernandez mentioned on Facebook that an “active shooter chase” was underway in Fairfield earlier that evening.
