All Elite Wrestling (AEW) reached new heights at the All In event on Sunday. The seven-team AEW World Trios Championship match started in the Buy In, spilling into the main show at Wembley Stadium, London.
The ring filled with teams, including notable wildcard entrants. Swerve Strickland emerged first, igniting the crowd. Then two newcomers made their entrance: Kofi and Austin Creed, now dubbed ‘The New Level’. This marked their debut in AEW after their free-agent move, adding strength to AEW’s tag team division.
During the match, champions Adam Page, Bandido, and Brody King were eventually eliminated. Other teams, including Kyle O’Reilly and Orange Cassidy, as well as Colten and Austin Gunn, saw their exit.
The final showdown featured Strickland, Kofi, Creed, and opponents Claudio Castagnoli, Pac, and Kidd. Prince Nana’s timely intervention kept Kofi in the match, paving the way for Strickland, Kofi, and Creed to clinch the AEW Trios Championship.
Kofi and Creed, formerly Kofi Kingston and Xavier Woods in WWE and past tag team champions, officially joined AEW as announced by owner Tony Khan at the event. Their presence is anticipated to enhance AEW further.
The event witnessed another title change earlier when Persephone defeated Maya World to secure the TBS Championship.
