Bunnie Xo Discusses Heartbreak and Moving Forward Post-Divorce

Bunnie Xo has shared the emotional and physical challenges she’s faced navigating her divorce from Jelly Roll. During her appearance on Open Book with Jenna Bush Hager, she revealed the hardships of her journey. There were moments where my team had to pick me up off the floor and get me IVs because I wasn’t eating, Bunnie admitted. She even resorted to eating baby food to manage, losing 20 pounds due to heartbreak.

Jelly Roll filed for divorce from Bunnie Xo on May 18 after nearly a decade of marriage. The date of separation was recorded as May 9. The couple first met in 2015 at a concert in Las Vegas, where they quickly formed a close bond, marrying a year later. Although their relationship had endured strains, the divorce was finalized in July.

Shortly after the divorce announcement, Bunnie shared intimate details about her separation on her podcast, later removing the content from YouTube. Reflecting on her past, she acknowledges the challenges faced while supporting Jelly Roll’s career, stating she funded his early career by turning tricks.

Discussing her independence post-divorce, Bunnie emphasized her resilience. I am my own person. I stand on my own two feet, she told Hager. She remains dedicated to her brand and personal identity, separate from her former spouse.

As Bunnie focuses on her future, she embraces putting herself first. She encourages women to prioritize self-care without guilt. It’s OK to be selfish, she said. We as women feel like we need permission to be selfish, and we don’t. Bunnie now enjoys her freedom and insists her post-divorce life is not as scandalous as perceived. I’m having so much fun, she expressed, dismissing assumptions about her social media presence.

In early July, Bunnie was seen with a new companion, reality star Dylan Wolf. Clarifying her stance, Bunnie joked about being seen with multiple people, including friends, saying, Maybe even a freaking camel. Despite speculation, she maintains that her adventures are simply part of enjoying life after divorce.
