The United States and China have reached an agreement regarding the non-militarization of the Strait of Hormuz, according to Secretary of State Marco Rubio. In an interview with NBC News, he stated that President Donald Trump discussed issues related to the Iran war and the blockade of the Strait of Hormuz with Chinese President Xi Jinping at a summit.
