Chris Watts Reportedly Seeks New Marriage Behind Bars

37 minutes ago 0

Chris Watts, convicted of murdering his pregnant wife and two young daughters, plans to marry again. He has reportedly found a new love interest in Lizzie Henderson.

Watts, serving multiple life sentences, met Henderson while in prison. He has a history of communicating with female pen pals. This development follows his affair before committing the murders, according to investigators. Watts received life without parole for the tragic loss of his wife, Shanann Watts, 34, and their daughters, Bella, 4, and Celeste, 3.

Christopher Watts is escorted into the courtroom before his bond hearing on Aug. 16, 2018, in Greeley, Colo.

Reports say Henderson is from Cleveland but recently moved to Wisconsin, where Watts is incarcerated at Dodge Correctional Institution, a maximum-security facility. In 2025, court records from Racine County, Wisconsin, indicate a woman named Lizzie Henderson requested a confidential legal name change. This coincides with both Watts and Henderson expressing interest in marrying within the prison system.

When asked about Watts’ crimes, Henderson acknowledged her awareness and the gravity of the situation, stating, “He knows how I feel. I don’t know all the people involved but I would want to respect them.”

Previously listed as a real estate agent at Milwaukee-area Keller Williams Realty, Henderson is no longer affiliated with the firm, which declined to comment on her past employment.
