Cleveland Browns Consider Trading Jerry Jeudy

1 day ago 0

With the NFL trade deadline approaching in less than a month, discussions about potential player trades are intensifying. The Cleveland Browns emerge as a team to watch, potentially looking to trade their experienced wide receiver, Jerry Jeudy.

According to NFL insider Jordan Schultz, the Browns might be willing to part ways with Jeudy for a third- or fourth-round draft pick. Jeudy, 27, joined the Browns in 2024 when they traded their fifth and sixth-round picks to the Denver Broncos for him. Shortly after, Cleveland offered him a three-year contract extension worth $58 million.

Initially, Jeudy surpassed expectations, achieving personal bests with 90 receptions, 1,229 yards, and four touchdowns in 2024. However, his performance declined in 2025, prompting the Browns to consider moving him, especially with promising rookie wide receivers KC Concepcion and Denzel Boston stepping up.

There’s uncertainty about who might actively pursue Jeudy, but he remains a skilled player despite not fully meeting the expectations tied to his first-round pick status. The critical question revolves around whether a third- or fourth-round pick is a reasonable price for a receiver whose peak years may have passed.

Selected as the No. 15 overall pick by the Broncos in the 2020 NFL Draft, Jeudy has compiled 359 catches, amassing 4,965 yards and scoring 17 touchdowns throughout his career.
