Emily Ratajkowski Celebrates Birthday with Bold Fashion Choice

Emily Ratajkowski shared a glimpse of her birthday celebration through social media, capturing the attention of many with her striking ensemble. The model, known for her daring fashion sense, showcased a red dress that left little to the imagination during her 35th birthday bash.

In the Instagram photos, Ratajkowski posed alongside a red birthday cake adorned with floral details. Her attire, a bold red outfit, featured several cutouts and fringe elements, offering a shredded appearance. Gold bars secured the fabric, continuing this design down past her navel. Ratajkowski maintained a serious expression in her selfies, and she spent time with friends at Ha’s Snack Bar in New York.

Ratajkowski recently gained further recognition after her debut on the Victoria’s Secret Fashion Show runway in October 2025. She first collaborated with the brand in 2023, participating in their Icon Campaign. Expressing her excitement, she told Popsugar about her admiration for supermodels like Gisele, Candice, Naomi, and Adriana. “Those women were larger than life to me,” Ratajkowski stated, highlighting the iconic nature of the images they have created.

Her recent runway appearance marked a significant milestone, 20 years after she first joined Ford Models at age 14. Initially focused on catalog and print work, Ratajkowski’s career took off in 2013 when she appeared in the “Blurred Lines” music video. This exposure led to increased visibility and she was named Esquire’s Woman of the Year in 2013.

Apart from modeling, Ratajkowski dabbled in acting, with a notable role in “Gone Girl” in 2014. However, she decided against further pursuing acting, voicing her discomfort about the industry. In a 2023 interview with the Los Angeles Times, she expressed feeling like “a piece of meat” rather than an artist. This dissatisfaction led to her decision to step back from acting.

She candidly spoke about her growing impatience with the Hollywood industry, particularly regarding how women are perceived and treated. “I was like, ‘I can handle receiving phone calls. I’m gonna make these decisions. None of you have my best interest at heart,’” she remarked, highlighting her resolve to take control of her career trajectory.
