A delivery driver is facing criticism after a doorbell camera recorded the moment a package was thrown onto a concrete porch, rather than being placed carefully. The footage, taken by a Ring camera, was shared by Nathan Pekas, a Florida resident.
The video shows the driver approaching the house and tossing the package. A loud thud is heard as the box hits the porch. The driver then takes a photo as proof of delivery and leaves, unaware of the dog’s howling inside the home. The incident involved a delivery made by Yun Express, a third-party carrier often used for Amazon deliveries.
Pekas expressed surprise at the delivery method, humorously suggesting the Florida heat may have discouraged the driver from taking a few extra steps to the door. He also shared an image showing apparent damage to one corner of the box.
Amazon responded to the situation by stating, “This video does not reflect the standards we have for our delivery partners, and we’re looking into this matter.” The company has not confirmed if the contents were damaged or if the driver will continue making deliveries for them. Fox News Digital has sought further comments from Amazon.
This incident is one of several delivery mishaps captured on camera recently. In Georgia, a FedEx driver accidentally fell into a pool while delivering a package but continued with the route after the unexpected dip.
