Jacy Jayne Prepares for Money in the Bank Ladder Match

Jacy Jayne, the Women’s United States Champion, is gearing up for her first Money in the Bank ladder match. She aims to seize the opportunity to secure a world title shot. While reluctant to reveal her game plan, Jayne remains confident in her strategy.

Speaking to OutKick Dropkick, she stated, I definitely have a strategy. I’m not going to tell you what it is. You gotta watch the match to find out. Jayne has built knowledge of her opponents over the years and has been reviewing their past matches to refresh her memory.

Currently, Stephanie Vaquer holds the women’s world champion title, while Chelsea Green is the WWE women’s champion. As both are part of the SmackDown roster, Green appears to be a potential target for Jayne. Yet, Jayne emphasized that everyone remains a target. I want people to be paranoid…. I want to be the most obnoxious human being alive with this briefcase, she remarked.

In recent months, Jayne transitioned to the main roster, debuting alongside Fallon Henley and Lainey Reid. Jayne expressed her readiness for this move, stating, When you believe in yourself, you can accomplish crazy things…. I really knew I was ready and when I got that opportunity, I was not going to lighten up.

Jayne captured the women’s U.S. title in a match against Tiffany Stratton. Her Fatal Influence colleagues, Henley and Reid, secured tag team titles, which Jayne described as a proud moment. She shared her emotions, mentioning her pride in Lainey Reid’s accomplishments given her newness to the sport.

Jayne will compete in the women’s Money in the Bank ladder match against Sol Ruca, Lola Vice, Roxanne Perez, Lash Legend, and Tiffany Stratton. The event is scheduled for Saturday at the Smoothie King Center in New Orleans, with coverage available on ESPN Unlimited at 6 p.m. ET.
