Kellan Lutz Discusses Move from California to Tennessee

Kellan Lutz, known for his role in ‘Twilight’, shared that he moved from California to Tennessee three years ago. This move happened around the time his second child was born. Lutz spoke about this on ‘Inside of You’ with Michael Rosenbaum, expressing his fondness for California despite relocating.

Lutz’s wife, Brittany, has roots in Orange County. She grew up there and her family lived there. However, following the pandemic, many people, including Brittany’s family, left California. They were seeking a more peaceful environment, leading to their move to Tennessee.

“A lot of people flew, like fled California. A lot of people lost jobs and wanted to move somewhere a little bit more peace given,” Lutz mentioned.

The main reason for choosing Tennessee is the support system. When Lutz travels for work, Brittany needed family support. This was especially important after one of their children fell sick, leading to the decision to relocate.

Lutz described the positive aspects of their new community. They purchased land, joined Bible study groups, and became part of a welcoming church community. Franklin, Tennessee, where they reside, has provided unique opportunities and a thriving community of actors.

There have been some adjustments for the Lutz family. They aren’t used to the different weather patterns, including tornado warnings. Despite this, they appreciate the move, although they miss certain aspects of life in California, such as good sushi and Mexican food.
