Selma Blair Involved in Alleged In-Flight Incident

On October 12, 2026, Selma Blair, known for her role in ‘Cruel Intentions,’ reportedly experienced a violent incident on a Delta Airlines flight. The New York Port Authority stated she was taken into custody and evaluated at a hospital after allegedly becoming physically abusive with flight staff. The incident occurred on a flight from Los Angeles International Airport to John F. Kennedy International Airport.

The Port Authority Police Department was alerted around 11 p.m. The situation involved two flight attendants who required medical assistance after the alleged altercation. One of these attendants was hospitalized for further evaluation. The FBI is currently looking into the incident.

Blair’s representatives indicated that a medical emergency caused her alleged behavior. Upon landing, she received immediate medical care and is now stable.

Audio obtained by TMZ revealed that one flight attendant suffered a bloody nose. Blair is also alleged to have hit her head against an overhead compartment.

A Delta spokesperson emphasized the airline’s zero tolerance for unruly or unlawful behavior, prioritizing the safety of customers and crew.

In 2016, Blair was involved in a similar incident on a flight from Cancun to Los Angeles. She publicly apologized, citing a mix of alcohol and medication as the cause of her previous behavior. The FBI has yet to provide a comment on the current investigation.
