Shooting at Northern California High School Graduation Leaves One Dead, Three Injured

On Wednesday night, a shooting occurred at a high school graduation in Northern California, resulting in one person’s death and three injuries, according to officials. The incident took place at approximately 7:15 p.m. in the parking lot during Sem Yeto High School’s graduation ceremony, which was held at Fairfield High School, located southwest of Sacramento.

The Fairfield Police Department reported that one victim was declared dead at the scene while the other three were treated at local hospitals. The extent of their injuries remains unclear at this time. Efforts are ongoing to locate the suspect, as mentioned by Mayor Alma Hernandez of nearby Suisun City in a Facebook post.

A statement from the Fairfield-Suisun Unified School District spokesperson indicated that the shooting took place after the completion of the graduation ceremony. Law enforcement officials were present at the site soon after the incident.

The ages and conditions of the victims have yet to be disclosed. The motives and circumstances behind the shooting are still under investigation. No suspect description has been provided.
