The Northern Indiana Commuter Transportation District announced the South Shore Line would function on a ‘significantly limited schedule’ on Wednesday. Passengers should expect serious delays and extended travel times, as crews continue to address weather-related damage and work to restore power along the train routes. Additionally, further cancellations may occur.
Limited shuttle services are available between Hammond Gateway and Munster/Dyer along the Monon Corridor. These arrangements do not reflect the normal operations of the South Shore Line.
