The starting lineup for the WNBA All-Star Game on July 25 is finalized. Indiana Fever’s standout player, Caitlin Clark, is among the chosen ten. She is joined by her Fever teammates, Aliyah Boston and Kelsey Mitchell, as starters for the game in Chicago.
Fans contributed 50% of the voting process, while current players and a media panel accounted for 25% each. The voting resulted in Clark, Boston, and Mitchell making consecutive All-Star appearances for the third year in a row. However, this marks the first time all three have been selected as starters. Boston had previously achieved this honor in 2023 and 2025, and Clark has been a starter for the past two years. Mitchell, after being a replacement in 2025, earns her first start.
Other teams also have multiple players starting. The Dallas Wings feature guard Paige Bueckers and forward Jessica Shepard. The Minnesota Lynx are represented by Natasha Howard and Olivia Miles. Completing the lineup are Las Vegas Aces’ A’ja Wilson, a four-time league MVP, Breanna Stewart of the New York Liberty, a two-time MVP, and Gabby Williams of the Golden State Valkyries.
This year introduces a new format for team selection. In past years, except for the 2020 season, the top two voted players were captains who selected their teams. Now, WNBA legends Cynthia Cooper and Teresa Weatherspoon will assume general manager roles. They will choose their teams from the 22 All-Stars to celebrate the league’s 30th anniversary.
Caitlin Clark’s starter selection is well-deserved. She’s averaging a career-high 21.2 points per game, placing fifth among WNBA players this season. Additionally, she’s averaging 8.2 assists per game, ranking second. Clark continues to break WNBA records and reached 1,000 career points and 500 career assists faster than any other player in league history. She achieved these despite numerous injuries in her sophomore season in 2025.
The 10 named starters will soon be joined by 12 reserves, whose announcement is pending. Stay updated with Fox News Digital’s sports coverage, and subscribe to the Fox News Sports Huddle newsletter.
