2 hours ago 0

A K2 Cargo Airways Boeing 737-400 with five crew members on board vanished while flying from Sharjah, United Arab Emirates, to Karachi, Pakistan. This disappearance has prompted an extensive search operation in the Arabian Sea.

The aircraft, identified as Flight KTA1732, was last tracked about 300 kilometers west of Karachi on Tuesday evening. Initial flight-tracking data indicated a significant altitude loss and abrupt heading change shortly before contact was lost. Pakistani authorities noted that the crew had reported navigation system issues shortly before the disappearance and were under guidance from air traffic controllers.

Pakistan’s Rescue Coordination Centre has launched a broad, multi-agency search mission to locate the missing flight. Currently, no wreckage or survivors have been discovered. Official confirmation of a crash has not been provided by authorities. An investigation is expected to commence once the aircraft is located.

This situation remains ongoing and updates will be provided as new information becomes available.
