All five House members from Connecticut are seeking reelection. Among them, only one faces a competitive primary this Tuesday. Democratic Representative John Larson confronts a challenge from former Hartford Mayor Luke Bronin and two additional candidates for the party’s nomination.
Larson has the backing of Connecticut’s Democratic Senators, Richard Blumenthal and Chris Coons. Luke Bronin, on the other hand, received an endorsement from former Transportation Secretary Pete Buttigieg.
As the primary approaches, polling indicates a tight contest between Larson and Bronin.
