Vanessa Trump has announced her recent diagnosis with breast cancer. She shared on social media that she is collaborating closely with her medical team to develop a treatment plan.
Trump expressed gratitude to her doctors for performing a medical procedure earlier in the week.
“While this isn’t news anyone expects, I’m working closely with my medical team on a treatment plan,” she wrote, thanking her doctors “for performing a procedure earlier this week on me.”
She conveyed appreciation for the support from family and friends during this challenging time.
“I am staying focused and hopeful while surrounded by the love and support of my family, my kids, and those closest to me,” Trump stated. “Thank you for your kindness and support, it truly means more than I can express.”
Vanessa also requested privacy as she concentrates on her health and recovery.
“I kindly ask for privacy as I focus on my health and recovery,” she added.
The announcement follows her appearance at an event held at SoFi Center in early March.
Trump, aged 48, was married to Donald Trump Jr. for 12 years, and they have five children together. The couple publicly announced their separation in March 2018.
