Victor Marx, the Republican nominee for governor in Colorado, recounted an unusual experience in a podcast episode. He claimed to have “met Satan in person” through an encounter with a girl in a Texas youth prison. This revelation resurfaced in recent reports.
Marx, a former Marine and leader of a Christian ministry, detailed the incident from a 2020 podcast episode. He said that during a prayer session for a girl in a high-security youth prison, she began manifesting what he described as a demon. According to Marx, this event caused other incarcerated girls, including gang members, to retreat in fear.
This demon… just really manifested pretty nasty. When asked its name, it responded, ‘I am Satan.’
Marx narrated that while the girl was “adorable,” he sensed a demonic presence. The demon reportedly remarked, “I guess you’re going to say I’m possessed,” to which Marx responded with laughter, asserting that the obviousness of the situation negated the need for such a claim.
Founder of All Things Possible Ministries, Marx focuses on spiritual and emotional liberation through his work. His ministry promotes setting captives free, according to its mission.
After securing the GOP nomination, Marx made news by forming an all-Marine campaign ticket with retired Marine Col. George Markert. He contends that their military backgrounds equip them with the determination needed to counter the rising democratic socialist influence in national and Colorado politics.
Marx’s platform centers on public safety, social conservatism, and addressing living costs. His campaign arrives amid significant primary victories for the Democratic Party’s left wing, including Melat Kiros’s upset over incumbent Rep. Diana DeGette in Colorado.
He faces Democrat Phil Weiser, the state’s attorney general, favored to succeed term-limited Gov. Jared Polis.
