For adults, the fair served as a reminder of national unity. A father from Florida appreciated the presence of fellow patriots and service members. “I’m looking forward to being around all citizens who make this country great,” he remarked.

Judy traveled from Connecticut with her family to show support after officials withdrew backing for the fair. “It’s crowded, [and] people are nice,” a couple said, indicating newfound friendships with others in line.
