French AI Founder Warns Against Voting for Democrats

1 hour ago 0

Brivael Le Pogam, the co-founder of the French AI company Argil, urged Americans to reconsider voting for the Democratic Party. He cautioned that doing so might lead the U.S. toward a similar situation as France. Le Pogam’s viral post on the platform X warned followers against supporting Democrats, aiming to prevent America from sharing France’s fate.

Le Pogam explained that France saw progressive politicians increase public expenditure to nearly 57% of GDP. This was intended to support free healthcare, free college, and a robust welfare system. However, these measures did not yield successful results.

Since 1974, France has failed to maintain a balanced budget. Our debt exceeds 3,300 billion euros, and the interest is a significant budget item. Hospitals struggle despite record funding. Schools underperform yearly. Graduates can’t afford homes in their hometowns. Top engineers relocate to London, Zurich, and San Francisco. Wealthy individuals have left, taking jobs with them,

Le Pogam observed.

He advised that France’s situation resulted from enduring 50 years of taxes and regulations. He urged Americans not to follow the same path.

I love America for its belief in building something from nothing. Silicon Valley transformed my life. Before voting, ask if the program enhances America, or makes it more like France. You don’t want to be France,

Le Pogam concluded.

His post quickly gained traction among conservative commentators and figures like billionaire Bill Ackman, who highlighted the importance of the message for protecting America’s distinct identity.

Le Pogam addressed comments that suggested Democrats aren’t socialists and that America won’t resemble France. He noted the rising costs of government-subsidized goods like healthcare and education, compared to more affordable non-subsidized products like phones and software.

He described this as a typical pattern: a real problem, a promise that sounds generous, a program that exacerbates the issues, followed by further program failures. He stressed learning from people who endured communism, advising against policies that increase state intervention.

He noted, In France, we face unaffordable living and young people’s exodus. Our cities periodically experience unrest. These outcomes stem from a pattern of generous promises repeated for decades. If you engage with Democrats, initiate a conversation. The focus should be less state intervention, not more.

In comments to Fox News Digital, Le Pogam maintained his stance and expressed general support for the Republican Party. He mentioned that their platform better preserves America’s unique dynamism and spirit.
