Family, friends, and authorities have been actively searching for her. She was last spotted on September 4 around the 3200 block of Nebraska Avenue NW. The Metropolitan Police Department urges the public to assist in finding Forbes. Her disappearance is treated as a critical missing person case.
The National Presbyterian Church, where Forbes holds membership, issued a statement describing her disappearance from her home as occurring under “mysterious circumstances.”
