An unusual incident occurred outside a Taco Bell in Florida, leading to the arrest of 28-year-old Brandon Irizarry. Authorities apprehended him for alleged indecent exposure near the restaurant on a Thursday morning at around 1 a.m.
According to a report by WFTV 9, employees at the fast-food chain were not entertained by the situation. The Flagler County Sheriff’s Office stated that Irizarry was found with multiple pairs of pants pulled down near the side door of the Taco Bell. Deputies described him as being ‘chimichanga out’ when they arrived.
Upon noticing the police, Irizarry attempted to cover himself but was already facing arrest. He was charged with unlawful exposure of sexual organs and was transported to the Sheriff Perry Hall Inmate Detention Facility. Sheriff Rick Staly commented on the situation, stating that in Flagler County, inappropriate behavior results in a stay at the ‘Green Roof Inn’.
Adding to the peculiar nature of the arrest, deputies found a betta fish swimming in a plastic container inside Irizarry’s backpack. The fish, which deputies named ‘Baja Blast’, was taken to the Flagler County Humane Society, where it is reportedly doing well.
The sheriff’s office used humor in addressing the incident, reminding residents that late-night Taco Bell visits should end with a receipt, not an arrest. Their message underlines the community’s values and the importance of appropriate public behavior.
