Rising Approval Among Hispanic Americans
President Donald Trump’s approval rating with Hispanic Americans has risen to 37 percent, according to a poll by The Economist/YouGov. This marks an improvement from previous polls and represents his strongest rating among Hispanics since early last month when the approval was at 40 percent.
Latino voters played a significant role in Trump’s 2024 election victory. Despite Democrats securing the majority of Hispanic votes nationally, Trump made notable gains with this demographic compared to past Republican nominees. Both parties closely watch his standing with Hispanic Americans, and the latest poll indicates Trump has regained some ground with this critical constituency.

She noted that Republicans will continue to strive to make life more affordable for working families.
Expert Insights
Previous polls during Trump’s second term showed waning Hispanic support due to aggressive immigration policies and mixed economic signals.
