Elizabeth Smart, noted for her own survival from abduction, expressed there’s ‘reason to have hope’ regarding the case, which has stretched over 25 weeks without resolution.

The message accompanied a photo of Nancy Guthrie with Savannah Guthrie, provided by NBC in response to the disappearance. Guthrie expressed the family’s ongoing nightmare and their commitment to finding Nancy.

I’m coming on today with a very specific message. It has been months since our mom was taken from us. Our family is in agony. We are in a nightmare that will not end. Nothing about our situation has changed. We have done our part, and we will never stop looking for her. We will always ache for her and feel that hole in our hearts. The world can be a cruel and unforgiving place, Savannah Guthrie said.

Guthrie, alongside her husband Michael Feldman, was seen at LaGuardia Airport in New York City recently, having completed her segment on Today before taking a break amid ongoing security issues at NBC.

The family is urging anyone with information to contact authorities, offering a reward of over $1 million for any help leading to Nancy’s whereabouts.
