Tim Allen has shared insights into the longevity of his marriage to Jane Hajduk, which has lasted nearly 20 years. In an interview with Us Weekly, Allen discussed the challenges and successes of their relationship. The couple married in 2006 and have navigated both shared and individual interests over time.

He explained, “I think a sense of humor saves us so many times.” This mutual understanding helps them navigate everyday struggles, like their shared interest in golf. “We’re very different people,” Allen noted. “But we both pull a bit on either side. We’re pretty good buddies.” This balance of differences and teamwork contributes to the longevity of their marriage.

Allen and Hajduk began their relationship around 2001 and married in a private Colorado ceremony in 2006. They welcomed their daughter, Elizabeth Allen-Dick, in 2009. Allen also has a daughter, Katherine, from a previous marriage.

In 2024, Hajduk revealed to People that shared activities, like visiting a stretch lab and enjoying breakfast together, help maintain their relationship. These activities foster closeness and provide opportunities for connection.

Hajduk also mentioned the importance of their long-standing friendships, explaining that communication is key. “We talk,” Allen added, highlighting their friendship as a foundation for their romantic relationship.
