Total Nonstop Action Wrestling (TNA) revealed an exciting development in women’s wrestling on Sunday during Slammiversary. The announcement detailed a tournament designed to determine the inaugural Knockouts TV champion.
Traci Brooks, a legendary figure in TNA, informed the Boston audience about the upcoming championship, marking a significant milestone in the women’s division. The tournament is set to feature 16 competitors, commencing on Impact on Thursday. The newly minted championship belt will be defended specifically during television broadcasts.

The tournament bracket includes both emerging talents and familiar names. Matches include Indi Hartwell against Vicki Venuto, Harley Hudson versus Thea Hail, Elayna Black battling Wendy Choo, and M by Elegance taking on Rosemary. On the opposite side of the bracket is Jade Stone challenging Alisha Edwards, Jody Threat facing Gabby Forza, Mara Sadè competing against Tasha Steelz, and Heather by Elegance confronting Allie.
The victor of this tournament will earn the honor of being the first Knockouts TV champion and will enjoy exposure on television. The initial matches will be aired on AMC, Thursday at 9 p.m. ET.

Heather by Elegance and Allie will compete after facing each other at Slammiversary for the TNA Knockouts World Tag Team Championship, where Allie and Rosemary claimed victory over Heather and M by Elegance. Additionally, Sadè is set to compete against Steelz in another anticipated matchup.
Further matches on Impact will feature Leon Slater versus Eddie Edwards, Ryan Nemeth against KC Navarro, and an X Division Championship No. 1 contenders match involving Fabian Aichner, Mr. Elegance, BDE, Rich Swann, and Home Town Man.

Newly crowned TNA world champion Nic Nemeth, TNA women’s champion Xia Brookside, and Ricky Sosa are also expected to make appearances and address the crowd.
