Václav Nestrašil is a notable participant. The 19-year-old right winger from Czechia had an impressive winter, winning a silver medal in the 2026 IIHF Ice Hockey World Junior Championships. Mason West, the 2025 No. 29 pick, shifted focus from football to hockey after leading his high school football team to a state championship. Transitioning to the USHL’s Fargo Force, he tallied 25 points in 38 games. His experience in football provides a unique edge on the ice.
West, standing at 6-foot-6 and weighing 218 pounds, is committed to Michigan State for the 2026-27 season. He will also participate in the 2026 World Junior Summer Showcase, ready to develop further and embrace new challenges.
