Michigan and Other State Primaries Show Close Races and Key Political Dynamics

The Democratic primary for Michigan’s Senate seat and other races remain tightly contested. In Michigan’s 13th District, Shri Thanedar trails Donavan McKinney by 3 percentage points with 70% of the vote counted. Meanwhile, Abdul El-Sayed leads Haley Stevens in another close contest for the Democratic Senate primary.
